APCTO Membership Categories

Non-profit as well as for-profit firms and individuals who share APCTO's commitment to providing cost-effective correctional services that meet or exceed all applicable constitutional, legal, and professional standards are encouraged to become members of APCTO. The four classes of membership available are: (1) a full membership category for firms and individuals that are providers of correctional services and which is the only membership category that conveys voting rights; (2) associate membership, which is available to firms or to individuals that are providers of correctional services; (3) an individual membership category; and (4) a student membership category. Local, state, and federal correctional agencies are encouraged to become either associate or individual members of APCTO.

The APCTO membership fee structure and benefits associated with each membership category are outlined below.

The Membership Fee Structure

Full APCTO Membership: Annual membership fees for full APCTO members are determined by the gross annual revenues of the applicant firm or individual. The fee for those with gross annual revenues

below $5 million = $2,000;
between $5 million and $25 million = $5,000;
between $25 million and $50 million = $7,000;
between $50 and $75 million = $10,000;
between $75 million and $100 million = $12,000;
between $100 million and $150 million = $15,000;
between $150 million and $250 million = $20,000;
between $250 million and $500 million = $25,000; and
more than $500 = $30,000.

Associate Membership: $1,000

Individual Membership: $100

Student Membership: $25
